The fleet is 100% tracked by a control center, ensuring greater safety, traceability, and risk prevention in operational activities. This represents zero severity and incidence rates.
The Internal Mining Work Accident Prevention Week (SIPATMIN) is the most important event on our annual calendar for reinforcing the safety and health culture. During the week, operations are temporarily suspended to ensure participation from all shifts, promoting dialogue, awareness, and collective learning.
The Safety Stand-Down is a total or partial pause of operational activities so workers can participate in safety awareness, accident prevention, and occupational health initiatives. These actions may occur by shift or sector, respecting operational feasibility, and reinforce the importance of daily care for life.
Grupo Avante conducts ongoing campaigns encouraging blood donation among employees. These drives have earned two recognitions from Fundação Hemominas: the Seals of Life, awarded to institutions that excel in mobilizing donors in Minas Gerais. We also promote hair collection for women undergoing cancer treatment, with donations used to make wigs in partnership with the NGO Fio de Luz.
